Binance Enters Into A Partnership With Star Athlete Cristiano Ronaldo To Launch Exclusive NFTs

• Binance will soon be unveiling a new NFT collection in collaboration with Cristiano Ronaldo

Binance, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, has announced its partnership with Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo to launch exclusive NFTs later this year. 

Binance Teams Up With Star Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo 

Binance has announced its collaboration with popular footballer Cristiano Ronaldo to launch NFTs later this year. As part of the multi-year deal, the exchange in association with Ronaldo will be producing NFTs each year that will further be available for sale exclusively on Binance NFT platform. 

Through this collaboration, Binance intends to launch a global campaign, intending to connect Ronaldo fans with the world of Web3 and NFTs. 

“Through this partnership, Binance will launch a global campaign aiming to give Ronaldo’s fans an introduction to Web3 with a compelling entry point into the world of NFTs.” The statement reads

Speaking about the said partnership, Ronaldo further added: 

“My relationship with the fans is very important to me, so the idea of bringing unprecedented experiences and access through this NFT platform is something that I wanted to be a part of.” Ronaldo later adds. 

The sports world is undergoing an NFT revolution with multiple athletes forging NFT alliances to connect with their fans on an intimate level. Last year another prominent footballer Lionel Messi had launched his own NFT collection ” Messiverse” in partnership with BossLogic, an Australian-based digital artist. 

Speaking about launching an NFT collection with Cristiano Ronaldo, Binance’s CEO Changpeng Zhao stated: 

“Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the world’s best footballers and has transcended sport to become an icon in multiple industries. He has amassed one of the world’s most dedicated fan bases through his authenticity, talent, and charity work…We are thrilled to provide his fans with exclusive engagement opportunities to connect with Ronaldo and own a piece of iconic sports history.” 

Described as an “opportunity to own an iconic piece of sports history,” the details about the NFT collection are scarce as of yet but the collection will reportedly launch by the end of the year 2022.
